How it works
The Audio Joiner merges multiple audio files into a single track - perfect for stitching podcast segments, combining voice memos, assembling an album-side mix, or chaining song chapters. Add as many files as you like, arrange them with the up/down controls, and hit Join.
Joining concatenates the decoded samples: no gaps are added, and no quality is lost in the merge itself (only the final MP3/WAV export you choose determines the output quality). The optional crossfade slider blends the end of each file into the start of the next with an equal-power crossfade; at 0 s the join is a classic gapless concatenation. Mono files are upmixed to stereo when joined with stereo files, so mixed sources just work.
Everything runs client-side in your browser: files are decoded, ordered and concatenated locally, so your audio never leaves your device and nothing is uploaded to any server.
Frequently asked questions
How do I reorder the files?
Each row has up and down arrow buttons - click them to move a file earlier or later in the join order. The files are merged top to bottom exactly as listed.
Do the files need to be the same format?
No - you can mix MP3, WAV, OGG and anything else your browser decodes. They do need the same sample rate (44.1 kHz files will not join with 48 kHz files); files from the same source almost always match.
What happens to stereo and mono files mixed together?
Mono files are upmixed to stereo by duplicating their channel, so the merged file is stereo if any input is stereo. Nothing is ever downmixed or lost.
Is there a file size limit? Is it private?
Each file can be up to 100MB. Joining concatenates the raw samples with no re-encoding in between, and everything happens in your browser - your audio never leaves your device.
